Bill comparison data

Text pasted into the previous-bill and current-bill fields is processed in your browser tab. BillShift does not send that text to a server, AI model, database, or analytics provider. Closing or refreshing the tab clears the pasted text and result.

You should still remove names, service addresses, account numbers, phone numbers, payment information, barcodes, and other identifiers before pasting a statement.

Analytics consent

Optional analytics scripts load only after you choose “Allow analytics.” If analytics is configured, it may record page views, broad device information, and a completion event. The event includes only the number of recognized changes, whether the total went up or down, and whether the total was estimated. It never includes bill text or charge labels.

Your choice is stored in local browser storage under billshift-analytics-consent-v1. You can clear site data in your browser to reset the choice.

Accounts, payments, and provider credentials

The Canary has no user accounts, subscriptions, checkout, or provider login connection. BillShift will never ask for your provider password or account PIN.

Changes to this notice

This page will be updated before any cloud-based bill processing, account system, payment flow, or new data collection is introduced.
